Our arrival and goodbye in Darwin

On Wednesday midday we arrived in Darwin – our final destination together. Here we have to arrange some things: laundry, blog updating, doing photo reprints, sorting our things as Dirk will be flying back to Sydney on Tuesday night etc. In our first night two friendly rangers woke us up at 6:30 am. They gave us the advice that it isn’t allowed to sleep in the car on the street. So we had to move on and found a laundry where we could also work on our blog.
Dirk will be doing the Kakadu National Park tour this weekend and be flying back to Sydney and work in the café where he had worked before. He misses the big city and his own space to live.
Silke will be going to spend some time wwoofing on a flower farm with some horses just 30 minutes outside of Darwin. She also will be looking for a new travel mate to go on travelling the West coast and hopefully find somebody.
