Our night program (instead of Ratinger Strasse and Ballermann in Duesseldorf)

Yesterday evening Dirk met a friend: Lisa whom he got to know in London. She is Australian (from Perth) and showed us Kings Kross which is the red-light district of Sydney. She wanted to show us a lounge bar to chill out. After ten minutes in the bar Dirk started to dance, we joined him and our table and armchairs were moved away by the bar manager to create the dancefloor.
Silke met Geoff whom she knows from her visit in Sydney in 2000 and who came to celebrate carnival in Cologne and Duesseldorf two or three years ago and his two colleagues in Circular Quay and went to a after work party next to the Opera House. The view there was fantastic: the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. People start drinking large amounts of beer there at about 5 p.m. Afterwards Silke met Dirk and Lisa at around 11 p.m.
